Springtime in the Natural Garden

Cordyline (cabbage trees) on display

Renga Renga lilies in flower in October

Flax flowers

Kowhai have been beautiful this year

I read in an English garden manual An avenue of Cordyline can be dramatic.
I had planted an avenue and now am working on planting more.

The fearhers represent the birds on the  property.

Little kahikatea plants pulled out by Pukeko have finally grown taller than we are

 Carex in the wind

Preparations for a cold day

The swamps are full of water this season

Will I hang around for another biscuit or go exploring?

A dramatic coast line

These small white flowers are so beautiful

On the homeward stretch

Good rabbiters need a rest

Will we get back to shelter before the rain?

I love the smell of freshly mown grass

The circle of koromiko, manuka and grisilenia is a playpen for puppies

Cordyine Flower's perfume attracts so many  bees.

The tuis get drunk on the nectar from the flax flowers

Grisilenia flowers attract the bees

The cloud before the rain

Kapiti Island always looks dramatic

Kapiti keeps asking us to admire her beauty
